Internet appearance and Extranet of Watt GmbH as a platform for acquisition, information, customer care and service, completion of a contract.

I have carried out this project within a team in a Berlin multimedia agency.
I was responsible for the technical concept and the complete technical realization of Frontend and Backend and was as well the technical contact person for the customer.
The realization was carried out according to the MVC principle.

The web site is managed with a Java based Content Management System and generated live.
The data from numerous forms for acquisition, price calculation and completion of a contract get transmitted encrypted into the intranet.

The extranet is accessible only for registered customers.
Besides pure contents, different interactive service tools are available.
Among other things statistical customer data from the intranet are prepared and live generated as an image representation.
These tools are applications developed by me within the company.
They are independent of the CMS API.
They are integrated into the editorial and administrative area of the CMS, however.
The data interchange in and from the intranet is carried out using XML formats and SOAP.

There were requirements which weren't supported within the CMS.
For the realization of these requirements and the integration of the Service Tools I have developed an API which encapsulates the CMS API transparently providing better performance and extended functionality.
